Another beach trip

We went on another day trip to the beach Friday.  We enjoyed all of what we usually do when we go.  The weather was great.  No storms and a very nice breeze so even though it was very hot, it didn’t feel like it on the beach.  The best part was just getting away for the day together and having a break from the norm.  It was fun.

Here are pictures from our day.  I thought this made a great shot.  So pretty.

Hanna as always in the water the WHOLE time!  Really, she only comes out to eat lunch and that’s it!

Joe playing around.  He is so cute.

Boys digging with Daddy.  Again, this was Jack’s favorite thing to do all day.  He only went in the water briefly if Jamie or myself carried him in.  That’s ok, he’ll come around eventually, and besides he had LOTS of fun without the water:-).

And lots of pics of Jack because he’s just so handsome!

We went to see Toy Story 3 Thursday night with Hanna and Joe—thanks Mom for watching Jack and Jesse so we could go.  It was so good!  Sad, because it made me think about my kids growing up and just how fast they are growing.  But, it was such a good movie.  We all loved it.  A very good lesson to be learned from it too.  I left the theatre feeling so thankful for my family and for all we are blessed with.

We had a great weekend.  Lots of time together and lots of fun.

  • FUN!!! I sure wish we lived on the east coast (i am from VA Beach). The “beach” in the Pacific Northwest is a sad replacement.

  • Looks like a fun day!

Toy Story 3 was sad, wasn’t it!? I thought it was a great movie, but a bit intense at parts. Charlie, our 5 year old was really scared when the toys were in “danger” (dont’ want to give it away if anyone hasn’t seen it yet). But we left feeling the same way as you I also thought to myself how we have to ALWAYS keep our Lovie, which is our version of your Ted.

    Blessings!!

Yes, it was sad, but good. I like movies like that. Fun, and leave you thinking and appreciating your blessings after you see it.

  • You do have a lovely beach. We love the beach so much too, it is so nice to leave everything behind. A day at the beach often feels nearly as good as a weekend away.

I agree too that your photographs look fabulous. :)
