I have wanted to have Joe make a tin can robot ever since we began homeschool. I finally decided to get around to it this week. I had no idea if Joe would share my enthusiasm for this project. I think he did:-)! I raided Jamie’s tool chest getting out miscellaneous nuts, bolts, washers, screw anchors, [...] Remember the wind chime craft Hanna made for her new room that we finally got around to hanging? Well, she also made a really cute butterfly mobile. Here is what she used: one cereal box Jack has wanted to do nothing but color going on three weeks now. He asks me to print coloring pages of construction vehicles for him off and on all day. None of my kids so far have enjoyed coloring like Jack does. Let’s just say I have used my printer a whole lot lately:-). I [...] The last two weeks we’ve wrapped up our insect studies with more on mosquitoes and a little about crickets. Joe completed his lapbook, read some new and old books, made some cool crafts and pretended to be a mosquito. He made a mosquito mask from a paper plate. I attached a straw to it and [...] ….has been a good one. I guess in some ways I could have chosen to see it as a hard week, a hectic week too, but I have too much to be thankful for, so it has been a great week. We’ve been busy.
